Hi everyone! We will be out of the woodshop Feb 14 - Feb 19. Because of our travels during that time, we will be away from the phone & computers (email).

They submitted this tune for the 'Tiny Desk' competition. Their energetic performance is infectious! We wish them luck with their submission. We just received these pictures from the current production of 'Shakespeare In Love'. It's a hurdy gurdy world! The play, which features our 'Merry Wood' hurdy gurdy, is still running through October. More details at

The soloist, Jim Kendros, will play a La Priel for the occasion on December 6, 2015. More info coming soon!
Last Summer year we announced that we crafted a hurdy gurdy for the Canadian production Klondike. Here in the U.S. it aired on the Discovery Channel over several nights starting January 21st. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2761630/

Pictured are some stills from the show- shown is Regine Chassagne of the band Arcade Fire. She used personal instrument for the skit! Once I get it back, I think I'll go spoon it for a while :) The Canadian production Klondike will be using one of our hurdy gurdies the miniseries. We'll post again when we find out the release date!
