Hi friends:
In an effort to provide better service to our customers, and also to reduce the heavy demand on our metal working equipment, we are discontinuing sales of our metal tangents to non-Altarwind customers / instruments. Over the past ten years, we have provided metal tangents to a number of European builders, as well as customers of other makers who wish to upgrade their instruments. Thank you so much for the business over the years! We wish we could continue to provide these parts for you, but due to the complexity involved in constructing metal tangents, combined with limited number of milling machines, we are in a position of limiting this aspect of our business so as to better meet the needs of our customers. We may revisit this in the future as we continue to expand our hurdy gurdy shop with additional equipment. If you own one of our hurdy gurdies, rest assured that we continue to provide any needed parts (metal tangents and all). We will also continue to offer these superior mechanisms in all our instruments. If you need to purchase metal tangents from us, be sure to have your serial# ready at the time of ordering.

We apologize in advance for the inconvenience. We've got to travel and hear some LIVE 'gurdy music sometime, right? We'll be back in a few days, to 'crank' out more hurdy gurdies! Hi everyone! We will be out of the woodshop Oct 26- November 6. Because of our travels during that time, we will be away from the phone & computers (email).
