by George Leverett
While modern harps are strung with nylon, the celtic harps of old were strung with wire. In keeping with that tradition, I am pleased to offer my rendition of a wire strung Celtic harp.
The rich resonant sound of the wire strings must be heard to be appreciated. Unlike other harps, you play this with your fingernails rather than the pads of your fingers.
Features: All hardwood construction. Cherry, Walnut, or Maple are the norm (pictured above is made from Walnut), although if you prefer I can use a different wood of your choice.
Robinson sharping levers on all f's & c's (more can be added for $6.00 each).
It's range begins at F below middle C, and goes up to high C.
Celtic engraving on pillar: add $50.00 (pictured left)
zither pins standard
tapered tuning pins add $80.00
Includes: Harp, tuning
wrench, soft scratch cover case, and beginning lesson book.
