elements inside the instrument, with volume & tone control for each, 3-way switch, and active internal preamp.
All this outputs into a standard 1/4" guitar jack.

Details:
9-volt battery housing: This is where you install the battery to power the internal preamp. Battery life
is 12,000 hours.
Volume & Tone 1: This controls the volume & tone for the element closest to the trompette
bridge.
Volume & Tone 2: This controls the volume & tone for the element closest to the bourdon/drone bridge.
3-way
Switch: Lets you choose which pickup element you're playing through. The middle position is both elements, in which case you can use
the volume & tone pots like an onboard mixer.
