NEW FEATURE! In Celebration of our 700th instrument....
Most hurdy gurdies have two rows of keys, the main row is comparable
to the diatonic (white) keys of a piano, and the second row of keys gives you sharps & flats (like the black keys of a piano).
Until
now!
We are very pleased to introduce the option of a third row of keys, which you can use to play harmonies along with
your main melody strings. See the video below for a demonstration.
This additional row of keys is fully chromatic, and controls it's own independent melody string. Now it's possible to
get true polyphony from the keychest! This option can be added* for only $595.00**.
If you are wondering
if this option is right for you, feel free to drop us an
email or call and we're happy to offer a free consultation.
This upgrade
includes a 2nd trompette /chien / dog
*not available for the 'Madeline' symphonie.
** The hurdy gurdy must use our
'Marshall Plate' and metal tangents (like our 'Moncur' & 'Aquitaine' ). If you are thinking of our 'Merry Wood' model,
you must also add the upgrade for metal tangents/Marshall Plate/Remote string switches.
